A) BEST PIECE OF CREATIVE WORK AT HIGH SCHOOL
Photoshop artwork in Year11 - one of the 7 pieces in "Flight Path"
The original photo was taken by a friend whose walking home after work. The flowers on the tree branches extended full-length across the clock. They are like waves - waves that flow within the stream of memory. That sense of mystery and nostalgia of passed time appear in mind as half real.
The Dynamic Tower designed by Italian architect David Fisher and British firm Dynamic Architecture is expected to come to reality in 2010, in Dubai. It will be the world's first 'building in motion', changing its appearance along time. Its elegant movable structure comes from the idea of massive windmills, where wind turbines are built as central part of each level. Since the function of the building is similar to that of a windmill, wind powered Dynamic Tower can also be a massive energy generator other than the role of being an interesting piece of architecture, providing safe sustainable living.
C) AN ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH OF SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL
Vision Valley from Year11 Camp
The photo was taken in Vision Valley during my Year 11 camp. When I took this photo, I could not distinguish the definite line between the land and the water. And I have to admit, after over 4 years of high school, it was the most peaceful day ever - in front of this lake that my friends and I sat, we heard nothing else except for the sounds of nature. It seemed like a heavenly place, like a utopia.
